The Koorie Heritage Trust is a not-for-profit Aboriginal community organization devoted to the protection, preservation and promotion of the living culture of south-eastern indigenous people and to bridging the cultural gap between the Koorie people and the wider community.

At the heart of the Koorie Heritage Trust are its collections of artefacts, paintings, photographs, written works, and oral history recordings. These collections form the vital foundation of the Trust. The collections are unique because they focus solely on the Aboriginal cultures of south-eastern Australia.
