本文討論流傳在臺灣原住民七個族群間，一則發展模式相同，情節卻互有差異的奇人赴部落協助耕作故事。首先透過故事情節的比較與分析，歸納出奇人助耕故事呈現的樣貌雖紛雜，但其實只有四個系統。再藉由臺灣農具、農耕技術演變的考察，討論故事情節產生時的想像依據及故事產生的時間。最後透過故事結構分析，說明故事受到講述者歡迎，而能在七族間流傳的因素。綜合上述歷史與地理的研究方法，以闡述、辨明奇人助耕故事的流傳、變異情況，及其所代表的文化意義。

This paper discusses a story which have been spread in seven Taiwan aborigines. The story is about God helps a certain tribal people to cultivate, after that he was finally expelled. Although the developments in these stories are the same in each ethnic groups, there are still different episodes By comparing and analyzing, we found some differences in these stories, and they can be generalized to four systems. Then we discuss when the episodes produced and the basis for imagination, by studying the agricultural equipment and farming techniques in Taiwan.
