From the origin, content, and related rules of the game, we found there is a close relation between the change process and ethnic identity of Taiwan indigenous people. Han government has most of control of sports events, ritual, and money, etc. As ethnic consciousness awakening, traditional sports culture of indigenous people can reappear and ethnic identity can be rebuilt through this game. From Aboriginal People Sports Meeting in Taiwan, we can also find that the game contains ideology Han government wants to deliver, the acceptance of Han’s values, and self-identity of indigenous people. The purpose of ten-year-old aboriginal People Sports Meeting in Taiwan has shifted from following the values of Han people to pass down their cultures. The game has become the place to strengthen self-identity and also a historical prove of Taiwan indigenous people seeking its self-identity.
