國小五年級學童鄉土知識與態度之研究---以高雄市前鎮區為例

摘  要

本研究旨在瞭解高雄市前鎮區國小五年級學童鄉土知識與鄉土態度之現況﹔並比較不同背景的國小五年級學童其鄉土知識與鄉土態度的差異情形,並分析學童鄉土知識與態度之相關。

本研究採用問卷調查法進行實證研究,研究對象是90學年度就讀高雄市前鎮區國小五年級的學童,共得有效樣本是678人,研究工具是研究者自編的前鎮區「鄉土知識測驗」和「鄉土態度量表」。問卷蒐集後所得的結果用SPSS For Windows套裝軟體進行次數分配、描述性統計、因素分析、t考驗、單因子變異數分析和積差相關等統計方法進行處理,獲致以下的結論:

1.國小五年級學童前鎮區鄉土知識測驗的總平均是15.10分,答對率是50.34%;學童在鄉土態度量表的總平均得分是80.11分。

2.女生在鄉土知識測驗的得分顯著優於男生,鄉土態度的表現也比男生積極。

3.原住民、閩南人、客家人和外省人的學童,其鄉土知識沒有顯著的差異,鄉土態度的表現亦然。

4.父母親教育程度愈高者,其鄉土知識愈佳,鄉土態度的表現也愈正向積極。

5.鄉土資訊來源是學校教師課本、家長長輩同學和圖書館課外書籍的學童,其鄉土知識與鄉土態度均顯著優於電視廣播報紙者。

6.居住年數愈久的國小五年級學童,其鄉土知識的表現愈佳,鄉土態度的表現也愈積極。

7.學童參與社區活動、認識鄉土活動或鄉土旅遊的次數,平均每月3次者,其前鎮區鄉土知識顯著優於每月0到2次的學童;鄉土態度的表現亦然。

8.母語說聽流利的國小五年級學童,其鄉土知識與鄉土態度的表現均顯著優於說聽一些和聽不懂母語的學童。

9.國小五年級學童的鄉土知識與鄉土態度呈現顯著的正相關。

最後根據研究結果,提出對實施區域鄉土教育的建議,分別是在教育行政方面、教師方面、教材方面、父母方面等,並對後續研究提出建設性的建議。

ABSTRACT

The purpose of the research was to know the current status of the fifth grade students in Chian-jen district, Kaohsiung city, their local knowledge and local attitude, as well as compared these students from different backgrounds the difference of their local knowledge and local attitude. It was also to analyze the correlation of the students’ local knowledge and local attitude.

It employed the questionnaire method to proceed this empirical research. The research subjects were the fifth grade students in Chian-jen District, Kaohsiung city. It acquired in total 678 people as effective samples. The research instruments which were compiled by the researcher, were the Chian-jen District’s “ local knowledge test” and “ local attitude scale.” The collective results of the questionnaires utilized SPSS For Windows compact software to do frequency distribution, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, students’ t-test, one-way ANOVA and product moment correlation. The conclusions were as follows:

1.The average score of the fifth grade students Chian-jen District local knowledge was 15.10 points. The percentage of the correct answers was 50.34%. The average score for the local attitude scale was 80.11 points.

2.The local knowledge test score for the female students was better than that of the male students. It went the same for the local attitude performance.

3.There’s no significant difference in local knowledge and local attitude for those students of aborigines, Taiwanese, Hakkanese and Mainlanders.

4.Those students whose parents with higher education obtained better local knowledge and their performance in local attitude was more positive.

5.Students who got the local information from schools, teachers, books, parents, seniors, classmates and library’s outside reading books, their local knowledge and local attitude were far better than those who got from TV, radio broadcasts and newspaper.

6.The fifth grade students who lived in the area longer performed much better both in local knowledge and local attitude.

7.Students who participated in community activities, knowing-the-place activities or local trip for an average of 3 times per month performed distinctively far better both in local knowledge and local attitude than those who participated for an average of 0~2 times per month.

8.Students who were good at listening and fluent in speaking their native language performed apparently better in local knowledge and local attitude than those who could listen, speak some native language and those who couldn’t comprehend their own mother tongue.

9.The fifth grade students whose local knowledge and local attitude revealed a distinctively positive correlation.

Finally, according to the research results, proposals regarding the area local education in the respects of educational administration, teachers, teaching material and parents were made. And constructive proposals were also made for the follow-up research.
