為強化我國基層棒球運動，普及棒球運動人口，教育部於1989年開辦國小棒球聯賽，以期達到基礎扎根的目的，棒球聯賽開辦十多年來也造就許多國內外的知名棒球好手，如：王建民、陳金鋒、曹錦輝等棒球明星，都是國小棒球聯賽培育出的選手。原住民棒球選手，在我國棒球扮演極為重要角色，我們可從2004年雅典奧運中華棒球代表隊40％的原住民籍選手，而中華職棒現役球員原住民籍選手也佔了40.8％，可見原住民與台灣棒球密不可分的關係。本研究的目的在於瞭解從1989年國民小學棒球聯賽開打以來至2007年間，新竹縣原住民學生參加棒球聯賽之現況，研究結論如下：一、原住民學生棒球隊在新竹縣棒球聯賽佔有百分比逐年增加。二、原住民學生是新竹縣國民小學棒球聯賽的主角。三、憧憬成為原住民棒球明星，是新竹縣原住民學生參與棒球運動的追求目標。四、行政主管與社會資源共同協助，營造新竹縣原住民學生參加國民小學棒球聯賽的願景。

In order to intensify the development of the sport of the fundamental baseball, and to make it more popular among people, the ministry of education started to hold the baseball tournaments for primary schools since 1989, aimed at honing the skills of the youth who play baseball. In the past decade, we see a lot of talented and famous players showed up one by one, Wang,Chen and Tsao, players of MLB in U.S. All of them are captivated by this tournament. In our introduction, aboriginal students play an important role in the history of the development of baseball sport in Taiwan. Of all the players, there were more than 40% of indigenous players in our national baseball team that represented Taiwan to participate 2004 Olympic summer games, and more than 40.8% of indigenous players showcasing themselves in CPBL right now. Obviously original resident and Taiwan baseball inseparable relations.
My study is about the mass indigenous students in primary school who are participants of the youth league of baseball from 1989 to 2007, gathering all kinds of materials mainly made in my field working and the interviewing to the inner circle of the baseball, the research conclusion is as follows：
1.The original resident student baseball team holds the proportion atthe Hsinchu County baseball league tournament to increase year by year.
2.The original resident student is the Hsinchu County national elementary school baseball league tournament lead.
3.Looks forward to into the original resident baseball star. Is the Hsinchu County original resident student participates in the baseball movement the pursue goal.
4.The administrative manager and the social resources assist together. Builds the Hsinchu County original resident student to attend the national elementary school baseball league tournament to hope the scenery.
