困境與闖出 - 我的創作與思考

  創作者在構思與下筆階段,猶如進行一場直觀性的心靈轉化,主體的個人與客體的環境、虛幻的角色人物,互相進行對話與對抗,過程中,創作者將以孤獨為伴,面對螢幕尋求突破。突破的機會,來自閱讀他人的作品,觀察社會的脈動,深切體會自我與他人的情感交會,如此,方能釐清創作時的迷思,使作品不受時空拘束,進一步深一層找到領悟與方向,希冀作品達到求真化美的嶄新境界。

  本論文以本人所寫的三本小說為探索對象,依創作時期的排列陳述,這三本少年小說,談的都是一種共同的突圍經過。

  《南昌大街》描寫九二一大地震對社會的衝擊。以旁觀者的角度,觀察災變對少年朋友產生的影響及範圍。觀察與資料蒐集是這本小說的構思方法,在情節與角色間的著墨探討,將有助提昇創作時的視野高度。

  《再見,大橋再見》是一本以原住民逐夢的故事。以自己與原住民相處多年的經驗為基礎,加上地震後於大里溪橋下的見聞,寫出的作品帶著些許的浪漫情懷。想像中的族群,讓漢民族代原住民發聲的想法,是自己想要釐清的地方。

  《年少青春紀事》談論青少年朋友面對成長與壓力的過程,融入時下青少年流行的網路文化,在情節的鋪陳與人物角色的描述上,作了一番深刻的省思,而這種回省自己創作歷程的經驗,也提供自己未來創作時最大的能量。

  檢視這三本小說,從九二一災後浴火重生,原住民都市夢滅後重返鄉園,到苦澀年少對生命的重新體驗,提供了自我剖析的機會,並發現自己不同時期的學習與思維進程,豐富感覺經驗,開拓視野,期許藉此機會,調整未來創作的方向。

For the creators, the period of meditating and starting writing is like a directly perceived soul transformation. The subjective individual has dialogues and resistance against the objective environment and illusory characters. In the process, the creators will be accompanied by loneliness and face the monitor to seek for the breakthrough. The chances of breakthrough are from reading others’ works, observing the society changes, and deeply realizing the emotion association between one and the other. Only by this, can one distinguish the confusion in creation and make the works not being restrained by the time and space. To move further ahead, one can find a deeper comprehension and direction to make the works a real, beautiful and new world.

The research uses my three novels as the research object, and describes them according to the time of the creation periods. The three young adult novels are all about a process of common breakthrough.

“Nan-Chang Main Street” describes the strike of 921 earthquake to the society. It observes the influence and range of the disaster to the teenagers with objective viewpoints. Observation and data collection is the meditative way of the works. Discussing between the plots and characters will help promote the viewpoints in creation.

“Farewell! Big Bridge, Farewell!” is a story about the aboriginal inhabitants to pursue their dreams. Based on the experience of getting along with the original inhabitants for many years and the knowledge beneath the bridge of Da-Li Stream after the earthquake, the work has some romantic moods. Allowing the Han nation to express for the aboriginal inhabitants is what I want to make.

“The Records of Youth Events” discusses the process of the teenagers facing the problems of growth and pressures. It gathers the teenagers’ popular network culture nowadays and makes a profound reflection on the plot design and characters description. The experience of reviewing my creative process provides the biggest energy for my future creation.

To review the three fictions from the rebirth after the 921 earthquake, the hometown return of the aboriginal inhabitants after the broken dreams of the city to the re-experience of life for the young people, it provides the chances for self-analysis and finds my learning and thinking process in different periods. It improves my personal feelings, broaden my viewpoints and I hope to adjust my future creative direction according to this research.
