原住民國中生吸菸飲酒嚼檳榔衛生教育介入研究

摘要
本研究之目的,為探討是否能促使原住民國中生提高不吸菸、不飲酒、不嚼檳榔的態度,減少吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔比率,進而減少原住民國中生的菸、酒、嚼檳榔的攝取量。本研究選定屏東縣獅子國中(一年級兩班、二年級兩班,)為介入組,以屏東縣牡丹國中(一年級兩班、二年級兩班)為對照組,原住民學生以排灣族為主,獅子國中佔93.1﹪,牡丹國中佔92.4﹪。介入組接受一小時的吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔教學活動,對照組均不接受教學。在教學介入前兩週,兩組接受前測評量以作為實驗結果的比較基礎。教學結束後兩週,進行後測以了解教學介入後的立即效果,隔四個月後再實施後後測以追蹤教學介入後的持續效果。資料分析以變異數分析、回歸分析,來比較前測與後測、前測與後後測的差異性。並探討吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔三項行為的相關因素。分析結果如下:
1. 吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔短時間教學活動,未能顯著地改變介入組學生不吸菸、不飲酒、不嚼檳榔的態度,但在研究期間學生不吸菸、不飲酒、不嚼檳榔的態度平均得分持續增加。
2. 吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔短時間教學活動,未能改變學生的吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔行為的改變。然而研究期間,介入組的飲酒、嚼檳榔行為的增加率比對照組低。
3. 吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔短時間教學活動,未能顯著地改變介入組學生的吸菸量、飲酒量及嚼檳榔量。然而研究期間介入組學生菸、檳榔的攝取量增加比對照組少。
根據研究結果顯示吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔短時間教學活動,無法顯著地改變介入組學生的吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔態度、行為、攝取量。然而研究期間學生不吸菸、不飲酒、不嚼檳榔的態度平均得分持續增加。介入組的飲酒、嚼檳榔行為的增加率比對照組低。介入組學生菸、檳榔的攝取量增加比對照組少。如欲進一步更瞭解預防吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔教學活動,對原住民國中生的吸菸、飲酒、嚼檳榔三項行為的影響,可以在本研究基礎上,加以更多、更嚴謹的研究設計進行實驗。

Abstract
The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of a cigarette smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum for aboriginal students of junior high school. The topics of this research was focused on no-smoking、no-drinking and no-chewing attitudes and reducing the smoking、drinking and chewing behaviors.
We selected four classes of first and second students from Shih-Tzu junior high school as the treatment group(n=68)and four classes of first and second students from Mu-Tan junior high school as the control group(n=75).Four classes of students of Shih-Tzu junior high school were given one-hour session of smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum. The classes of Mu-Tan junior high school were served as control condition. All students were administered the same evaluation instrument in the pre-test.
The effect of intervention was assessed by questionnaires immediately after one session and follow-up evaluation in the next four months after summer vacation.
The collected data was analyzed by SAS. The statistical tests used include the chi-square analysis、Z-test、paired-t test、ANOVA analysis、Regression analysis.
Some interesting results are shown as following:
1. Although the smoking、drinking and chewing prevention curriculum has no significant effect in changing students’ no-smoking、no-drinking and no-chewing attitudes, the average score of attitudes were increasing
2. Although the smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum’s cannot change the students’ behaviors ,the treatment group’s drinking and chewing behaviors increase less the control group
3. Although the smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum cannot change students’ smoking、drinking and chewing intake, the treatment group’s smoking and chewing intake increase less the control group.
According to the result of this study, the smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum cannot change the treatment group’s attitudes 、behaviors and intake. The treatment group’s the average score of attitudes were increasing、the drinking and chewing behaviors increase less the control group、the smoking and chewing intake increase less the control group.
If anyone want to know the effect of the smoking、drinking and chewing curriculum for aboriginal students of junior high school, can base on this study to research by more and strict design.
