本研究針對花東原住民地區國民小學運動代表隊組織、教練、行政支援等問題進行調查，希望透過本研究的調查了解兩縣目前運動代表隊組訓的現況與面臨的問題，藉此提供各國小與教育行政單位組訓運動代表隊的參考。本研究以問卷方式，對花蓮縣與台東縣原住民地區120所國小進行調查，有效問卷95份。以描述統計資料分析，得到如下結論：

一、本研究調查發現花蓮縣共有9種運動項目，平均每校有0.92隊，台東縣共

有11種運動項目，平均每校有1.05隊。

二、成立的主要原因是「校長或學校教師有專業能力而設立」，多數的學校是由老師兼任運動代表隊教練。

三、主要的選拔標準是「學生有興趣」。

四、大部分的運動代表隊員國中未能再延續訓練，主要原因是「當地國中沒有相同運動代表隊」

五、花東原住民地區國小七成以上認為原住民籍運動代表隊員的運動成績表現優於平地籍隊員。

六、花東原住民地區國小六成以上運動代表隊教練擁有專業證照。

七、花東原住民地區國小教練認為組訓運動代表隊最困難之處在於「缺乏訓練經費」，其次是「影響家庭生活」。

八、影響花蓮縣原住民地區國小運動代表隊發展的主要問題是「缺乏訓練經費」，其次是「學生人數太少」、「缺乏參加比賽經費」。影響台東縣原住民地區國小運動代表隊發展的最主要問題是「學生人數太少」，其次是「缺乏參加比賽經費」、「缺乏訓練經費」。

This study was to explore the organization and coach of the aboriginal elementary school athletic teams in Hualien and Taitung . We hope by investigating could find out the organization and problem of the athletic teams . The conclusion could provide reference to elementary schools in Hualien and Taitung . The study samples were 120 aboriginal elementary schools in Hualien and Taitung and investigated by questionnaires . 95 effective questionnaires were recycled .

After analyzing the data, the result of the statistic were as followed :

1.There were 0.92 teams in every school and 9 items in Hualien . There were 1.05 teams in every school and 11 items in Taitung .

2.The main reason to established athletic team was “The principal’s or teacher’s professional ability” . Most schools’ teacher were coach, too.

3. The main standard of selection was “student’s avocation”.

4.Most athletes could not maintain training in junior high school . The main reason was “There were no same item in local junior high school”.

5.There were more then 70% schools’ coach consider the achievements of aboriginal students better then general students.

6. There were more then 60% schools’ coach had professional license.

7.The hardest problem to coach of the athletic teams in Hualien and Taitung were “budget shortage”, then “influence family life”.

8.The most important problem influence the athletic teams in Hualien were “budget shortage”, then “less students ” “budget shortage to competition”. The most important problem influence the athletic teams in Taitung were “less students”, then “budget shortage to competition ” “budget shortage”.
