[ 摘要 ]

本研究採質性研究法,以我國六位優秀原住民運動員為訪問對象。本研究主要目的在於探討優秀原住民運動員的特質、參與運動的動機和影響參與動機的因素、參與運動的現況、培育原住民優秀運動員的重要性以及自我目標與未來發展。

結果發現:一、優秀原住民運動員的特質:原住民運動員的天性較為浪漫、樂觀,雖然運動能力強,可是常常會因為外在的影響而迷失自我,可能需要加強人際關係的學習以及了解是非觀念,增加自信心的建設。二、參與運動的動機:除了本身的興趣之外還有家庭的影響及部落的運動風氣。由於原住民從小就對野外活動深感興趣,再加上原住民在運動上的表現,讓一般人對他們天生的運動能力深感佩服。影響參與動機的因素:原住民運動員參與運動的過程中家庭、教練與教師的影響最大。三、參與運動的現況:大部份運動選手並不滿意目前的環境,主要就是社會對運動的支持度不高。大多數的原住民運動員並不將運動作為終身的職業,而是將運動當作一個跳板。四、培育原住民運動員的重要性:培育原住民運動員最重要是從小時開始訓練極佳,並在未來的發展歷程中教導正確的觀念。

五、自我目標與未來發展:大部份運動員的目標擺在將來有機會能夠擔任 老師或教練,回部落繼續推廣體育活動。

The aim of this research was to interview six elite aboriginal athletes by using qualitative research method. The main aims of this research were to study their characteristics, participating motivation; factors of influence; existing conditions

; the importance of cultivating elite aboriginal athletes and their goals and their future development. The results were as follows: 1.Characteristics of elite aboriginal athletes: The characteristics of the elite aboriginal athletes were romantic and optimistic. Although their physical abilities were superior, they were easily affected by the outside influences and losing their directions. It is important that their interpersonal relationship, understanding of right and wrong and the development of self-confidence are enhanced. 2. Participating motivation: Other than from their own interest, they were also encouraged by their families and also influenced by their tribe tradition. Because the aboriginals were interesting in outdoor activities since they were young. They were highly admired by others with their physical abilities. They were mainly encouraged by their families, coaches and teachers. 3. Present conditions: Most of the athletes were not satisfied with their present conditions, because of the insufficient support from the society. Most aboriginal athletes did not treat sport as their lifelong professions. However they took it as the step stone. 4. The importance of cultivating aboriginal athletes: It is best to train the aboriginal athletes from when they are young and teach them the right concept of life. 5. The goals and future development: The goals of most aboriginal athletes were to become teachers or coaches or go back to their tribes to promote physical activities in the future.
