本研究主要的目的在探討原住民女性的生活型態與休閒現況,研究方法採用質的研究,根據文獻及研究目的擬定訪談大綱,以居住在屏東縣三地門鄉原住民女性,共六位為研究對象,抽樣方式採立意取樣與滾雪球原則,以半結構問卷進行深度訪談收集資料,訪談內容分為三部份,分別是個人基本資料、生活型態及休閒現況,將錄音資料撰寫成逐字搞,再抽取與本研究相關的主題、有意義的內容整理成重要敘述句,真實呈現受訪者的想法進行資料分析,本研究結果如下:
一、從生活活動內容及時間運用歸納原住民女性的日常生活型態類型為:「平凡生活」、「規律生活」、「工作取向」、「學習及社交」及「家庭生活」等。
二、經濟情形方面,原住民女性具有經濟決定權且面臨經濟困境,經濟開支以家庭為主。
三、休閒參與的類型偏於靜態、活動的空間以部落與自家為主;參與休閒活動的因素為內在放鬆與回饋、人際社交、生理健康、興趣及自我實現;時間及部落空間資源不足為阻礙休閒參與的因素。
四、不同的社經背景及日常生活型態取向的原住民女性對休閒參與的類型有所差異。
五、原住民女性的休閒觀點可歸納為「活動的」、「心理的」、「消費的」三大類型。
最後,根據研究的結果提出對後續的研究、有關政策及實施休閒方案建議。

This study investigated the lifestyles and leisure current situation of the indigenous women in Sandimen townshop in Ping-tung county. The qualitative research method was applied. The interview summary were made according to the literature review and research objectives. Six indigenous women in Sandimen township in Ping-tung county were surveyed with a emi-structured questionnaire to deeply interview the interviewee. They were sampled in purposive sampling first, then in snowballed sampling. The interviews were to ask interviewee’s background information, life styles and leisure current situations, transcribe the recorded datum, analysis the obtained datum which were arranged into the important statements.

The research findings were:
1. The lifestyles of indigenous women could be classified according to their daily life and the ways of making use of their time. They were common life, regular life, work orientation, learning and sociality, and family life.
2. The indigenous women possess the decisive right of home economy, even in depressed situation.
3. Tribes and homes were the main activity grounds for passive leisure activities. Inner relaxations, feedback, social intercourse, physical health, interests and self-realization were the factors in participating leisure activities. The lack of the time and proper spaces for leisure activities hindered indigenous people from the leisure participation.
4. Those indigenous women who were different social ranks, financial statuses, and different lifestyle had different patterns of the leisure participation.
5. Three main patterns-- dynamic, mental and consuming, were the different conclusions drawn from the leisure view points of the indigenous women.
Finally, some suggestions were made for further research, related policies and the plans for leisure participation.
