[ 摘要 ]
單親原住民兒童是本研究選取的個案類型。因研究者欲了解其整體的家庭生活圖像及學校生活圖像,所以需要對生活的情境脈絡(context)有深入的瞭解及熟悉。所以決定採用注重過程和情境脈絡且能與經驗理解相結合之質性個案研究方法,希望籍此達到欲想建立之研究目的。
於研究過程中,研究者以參與者觀察(participant-as-observer)之角度,配合著訪談(interviews)、觀察(observation)、文件分析(documents)等方式和策略,來蒐集生活圖像之資訊。並於其中利用長期投入、三角驗證(triangulation)、人員檢核(examination)及厚實描述(thick deseription)等方法,來增進資料之嚴謹性。最後再以凡事新奇之無成見觀念及人入情境(person in context)的微觀角度切入,並配合著文字描述及顏色運用來建構生活圖像。
經過研究後家庭生活圖像有:複雜人員及簡單房舍的生活、獨立早熟、適應力強之生活表現、經濟窘迫之能省就省的生活信念、專制權威的家庭管教氣氛、跨越無奈之堅強行為表現、非預期的傷害行為及需要被關心的Panay等七個重要圖像。另於學校生活圖像中呈現的有:缺席率高的校園表現、穩定發展之課業成績、校園活動的高參與表現、穩固情誼展現之漸入佳境的生活及認同Amis身分的積極表現等五個圖像。
希望能藉由此研究,讓讀者在心中形塑描繪出單親原住民學童(aboriginal student)的生活圖像。當然更希望的是,能經由這樣的研究,讓在不知名世界角落中關心著單親學童處境的你,也如同和我一樣親見Panay,並能對原住民單親的學童世界有更深的一層了解。

[ 英文摘要 ]
The case family chosen by this study is a pattern of Aboriginal Single Mothers’ Family. Because the researcher wants to know the whole pictures of her family life and school life, he must have a deep knowledge of the whole scenario of life. Therefore, to achieve the purpose of the study, the researcher decides to do the research by the qualitative case study which emphasizes on the whole process and enables to combine with experience .
In the process of the study, the researcher takes himself as a participant-as-observer and gets information or data by interviewing, observing, and documenting in order to collect the information of the life picture. In the research, long period of devotion, triangulation, examination, and thick description are involved to increase the exactitude of the data. Eventually, put the person in context without any preconceived ideas and also match with the writing description and the color usage to construct a living picture.
According to the research, there are seven important pictures to stand for the family life picture, including the life of the complicated personnel and simple house, being independent and early-maturing, adaptable life performance, living conviction of being abstemious as possible, absolute and authoritative way of teaching, hardy behavior performance to cross over helpless, unexpected injury behavior, and Panay that need to be concerned. As for the school life picture, the results are as follow: campus performance of high absence rate, stable achievement, high frequency of participating in school activities, getting better and better life of developing stable friendship, and positive identification of the character of Amis.
Hope readers be able to construct the life picture of the aboriginal students through this research. The most important is that through the research, people from all corners of the world, like yourself, who also care about those aboriginal students.
