本研究透過原住民女性社運者各自的生命敘說，在社會運動與日常生活雙重軸線中觀察她們如何觀看這個世界，理解自我。以敘說的方式，呈現她們的生活變遷。研究對象的六位女性運動者在原住民社會運動過程中，如何找到自我的位置，對社會運動內部文化提出何種觀察與反省？是若社會運動不是她們（女性運動者）生活的唯一重心，而眾多的角色扮演裡，她們如何找到平衡的模式，用以維持理想與現實的自我實現。期望以長串的生命故事發現她們在符合社會期望生活下，重建身為原住民與女性身份認同的線索。

研究發現，女性原住民社運者在運動與生活的交互穿插進出生命時，「自助」是她們所採用的生活攻略。處在原運脈絡下的她們，受到傳統性別主義的規範、依附性運動者的角色、同性姊妹情誼的立場殊異與自我生命經驗的交互影響，形成她們自我身份認同的驅力與線索。同時在眾多的家庭、社會、公眾的角色的扮演與轉換下，原住民女性呈現的自我認同採用機動策略者模式（motivated-tactician model）。在不同的時間裡，女性運動者針對不同主題的關心，透過原運，得到經營自己田畝的力量。在自我概念上獲得肯定，經過原運的生命，擷取新型態的認同模式。

This research penetration indigenous people female society movements transporting respective life narrated that, how observe them in the social movement and in the daily life spool thread to watch this world, the understanding oneself. Take the space and time recollection way, lets they speak as own life experience. Do the feminine social movements in the indigenous people social movement process, how find the self- position, proposes what kind of observation to the social movement interior culture? Is if the social movement is not the only center of gravity which they (feminine movement) lives, in the multitudinous role acting, how they finds the balance the way, the maintenance ideal and the reality self-realization. The expectation by the long string life story discovered they in looked resembles conforms to under the life which the society expected, reconstructs the body for the original resident and the feminine identity clue.

The research discovered, feminine original resident society transporting when movement and life alternately alternation turnover life, "the self-helping" is the life which they uses captures.
