台灣科技與社會（STS）研究學會創立於2008年，近年會員成長迅速至200多名。本會集聚STS研究人才與資源，學術能量與多元豐富的產出，使本會成為國際間認可的重要區域社群。本會秉持創立宗旨「STS為重視跨領域結合的新興領域，從科技與社會的各面向探討科技的建構與倫理，分析並關切科技社會與現代體制的複雜互動關係。」，持續推動機關刊物《科技、醫療與社會》期刊的編輯發行，辦理年度學術研討會，及學術推廣目標相關活動。2022年本會以執行之學術活動推廣包含：學術交流：實體辦理2022年年會暨研討會，共有42場次，發表78篇口頭論文，6篇海報論文，6組線上擺攤，1場主題演講，1場新書發表，3場民族誌影展。學術獎勵：辦理2022年「碩、博士論文獎」，頒發博士論文優選1位、佳作1位，碩士論文優選4位、佳作2位。學術資源：持續支持普及文《STS涵多路》網站，刊登38篇文章；《STS在台協會》播客頻道，製作2輯podcast學人專訪及論文深談節目。並舉辦「國家鐵道博物館的STS視角」採訪與對談活動、辦理「性別化創新在台灣：政策推動與教研案例」論壇。學會機關刊物《科技、醫療與社會》於2022年出版34、35兩期。本學會持續以建構回應社會變動的、世代傳承的有機學術生態為長遠期許。

Taiwan Science, Technology and Society Association was founded in 2008 and has proliferated to a 200-member academic society in recent years. In 2022, we have conducted the following promotional work: Hosted the in-person 2022 annual meeting and conference. Forty-two sessions, seventy-eight oral paper presentations, and many academic activities filed the two-day event. A day trip to the near-by indigenous communities followed the meeting. Awarded 2 Doctoral Thesis Awards and 6 Master Thesis Awards. Supported "STS Handoru" website of 38 new short article for general public reading in 2022, and "STS IT," 2 new episodes for the podcast channel to broadcast STS scholar''s interview and academic paper introduction. The official academic journal Science, Technology and Medicine, published the 34th and 35th issues in 2022. Our association rooted in STS studies will continue to reflect on Taiwanese society''s pressing issues, expand academic connections, support young scholars'' involvement, and construct a healthy and organic academic community.
