【這沿途，世界絕景】
── 這‧世界音樂節
「這」，是這兒、這裡，可以是這邊、這水、這土、這城……是伍佰〈返去故鄉〉：「我的雙腳站在這 我的鮮血 我的目屎／隴藏在這個土腳／這有我的靈魂／在這沒人會凍震動著我」，根莖愈深抓土壤，枝枒愈伸展天際。
一趟旅程的滋味，美妙與否，不一定是目的地景點的抵達，不在於「征服」或「攻克」哪個終點或天險，往往醞釀、取決自上路後的過程與巧合，雷光夏〈公路電影〉：「路的中途 開門下車」，曲折幽徑中得遇的甘苦與迷惘，沿途所有不在預期內的種種不經意的邂逅，暗花浮雲陌路人……沿途的一切，似乎才是旅行的意義及異義，真正觸動內心的美景妙音。
起點是此時此刻的當代台灣，「這‧世界音樂節」自城市台北、竹苗廟埕、花蓮海濱、台東山巒、屏東深林……也是你自己的初心啟程，不刻意標新，不囿限古老，利用別具意義的交通象徵、八種不同的乘載方式，探聆袤廣的亞非歐大洋洲絕景；沿途上，馳騁出特色無邊的時空及聲音想像：
那是在隨波逐流的舢板上，望見阿美族與馬達加斯加的悠遠文化連結；在凌空的纜車線弦間，交換琵琶與西塔琴的彈指頃刻；在復古摩托的牽引下，卑南女聲巧遇柬埔寨迷幻搖滾；在晃晃悠悠的山路巴士裡，客家民謠自在應和著沖繩島唄；在華麗卡車的喇叭聲中，俗艷的台客康樂隊與東北二人轉將要車拚；在同一條鐵軌上，往返冷與熱極致的北海道與都蘭；在綿密的都會電車網絡，延展排灣族與佛朗明哥的吉他美感；最終，在安適的母體搖籃裡，重回漢人原住民彝族……彼此尊重的世界一家。

“THIS” could be here and there or it could be this side, this water, or this land and this city…..as the Wubai’s song < Back to Hometown> says: “I’m standing here. My blood and my tears is all buried under my feet. Here is my soul and nobody can waver me.” While the roots are growing deeper, the branches are growing higher.
A taste of a journey , wonderful or not , depends not on whether we arrive at the destination or we overcome a dangerous cliff. It depends on the process and coincidence on the journey. According to the song < Road Movie > by Summer Lei: “ On the halfway of our journey, I opened the door and get off the car ”, the true meaning of journey are the joys , bitter, and perplexities. All the unexpected encounters along the journey are significant, which are really the wonderful scenes and music, touching your heart.
THIS World Music Festival starts from Taipei City, temples in Miaoli and Hsinchu, seaside in Hualien, mountains in Taitung and the forest in Pingtung…….This journey is also a way to find your nature. Not overstating whatever is new and not being confined in what is old, using the significant eight symbols of transportation, we explore the sceneries of Asia, Africa, Europe and Oceania. We will spark extraordinary and endless imagination of time, space, and sound.
