如何透過編織藝術
重新勾勒出屬於女性形象的文化輪廓

《女性團結：行走‧紋理》展覽試圖建構藝術與編織、人與土地的新關係，重新賦予藝術、土地、編織新裝置的共通性和連結，回應COVID-19疫情中原住民藝術家的反思和藝術再現的運動。女性藝術家如何通過安身立命、貫穿性別身體，時間及歷史被壓縮凝結成一種女性團結的空間模式，有關於傳統編織與當代藝術的關係、女性織者保留與創新部落文化的方法和編織裝置新樣貌得以推廣。

從自身經歷、生命記憶與文化變革的創作，探討「行走作為藝術實踐」、「順著河流走」的藝術進程,探索宜蘭縣原住民女性藝術家彭秋玉 Bakan Nawi、尤莉‧撒撒克 Yuri Sasak 及其装置藝術作品,對於原住民文化和藝術之間的内在和外在的多重樣貌，並且從「行走作為藝術實踐」作為出發點，對於「媒材」「編織」、「技法」與「當代藝術」的微妙關係，如何回應且如何通過藝術作品和觀者的相遇，從編織經驗、生命歷程及文化衝擊，擴張多元面向的藝術對話與行旅。

Resurgence and Solidarity: The Art of Walking and Weaving by Indigenous Taiwanese Women attempts to construct a new relationship between art and weaving, and between human and land, and the commonality and connectivity between art, land, and new woven installations, in response to the reflection and art reproduction movement of Indigenous women artists during the COVID-19 pandemic. A woman’s voice is like a drop of water, and the voices of a group of women can be condensed into the power of a river, amplifying their individual voices and blooming collectively in a space. This exhibition explores the artistic process of ‘walking as an art practice’ and ‘let the river flow’ from the creation of personal experience, life memory, and cultural change by Atayal Nation artists Bakan Nawi and Yuri Sasak.
