西澳洲原住民保健協會成立於二○○五年，同時是協會發展的指導委員會。該協會的首要目標是讓專業的保健人員得到被認同與承認，並確保適當的產業安排，使優質成果展現在西澳洲原住民與托雷斯海峽島民的健康上。

The WA Aboriginal Health Worker Association was incorporated in 2005 and a steering committee formed to guide the development of the Association. The Association''s overarching goals are to gain recognition and acknowledgement of the Aboriginal Health Worker profession and to ensure proper industrial arrangements to achieve quality outcomes in the health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Western Australia.
