台灣原住民當代藝術場域呈現持續生成發展的多元面貌,是一個由內部藝術家的文化實踐與外部政策、藝文活動推動下相互作用的動態社會空間,其沒有捷徑而是由個體及藝術社群在其生活世界中慢慢累積和轉化而成。2012年財團法人原住民族文化事業基金會設置「Pulima藝術獎」,為國內第一個以台灣原住民藝術為主體且不分媒材評選的藝術獎項,每兩年舉辦一次,辦理至今已有四屆豐碩的成果,也在其中成為一股台灣原住民藝術場域的推力。
本研究使用文獻分析法、文本分析法並深度訪談主辦單位、評審委員、藝術家,理解獎項機制背後簡章制度、評審機制、資源操作對於台灣原住民藝術家的影響,進而探尋Pulima藝術獎對於台灣原住民當代藝術場域的影響,並提出觀察與建議供後續原住民藝術家和主辦單位參考,也藉由更深入的研究和釐清,讓更多人了解台灣原住民當代藝術的發展現況。
Taiwan indigenous contemporary artistic field is continue developing into diverse features, it is a social space generated by the interaction of policies, cultural practices of artists and artistic activities. There’s no shortcut, it is gradually accumulated and transformed from artistic individual and the community. """"Pulima Art Award"""" is a biennial award established by the Indigenous Peoples Cultural Foundation in 2012.It embodies the creative spirit of indigenous peoples in Taiwan and regardless of media. There have been four editions of Pulima Art Award so far and carry forward Taiwan indigenous contemporary art field.
The study uses document analysis, text analysis and in-depth interviews with the organizers, judges, artists, and understanding the mechanism of general regulation, jury and resource behind the Award, then further explore the impact of the Pulima Art Award on Taiwan indigenous contemporary art field and put forward observations and suggestions for follow-up indigenous artists and organizers. Through more in-depth research and clarification, more people could understand the current status of the development of Taiwan indigenous contemporary art.
