Digital collections provide a contemporary and active preservation significance for the cul-tural history. The Usage of contemporary art technology is not only physical display in museums as cultural objects but also on the internet platform, as if it were a symbolic aesthetic to generate memory points, which has a high preservation and display effect.

The presentation of digital collections in museums is important, especially in terms of the presentation and visual navigation of local culture, which has become a cultural indicator in advanced European and American countries. Especially the presentation and visual navigation of local culture in museums has become one of the most important roles of digital collections in the world''s museums today. It is also a representative of culture. According to the official literature of the National Taiwan Museum, the """"National Taiwan Museum"""" is the first museum in Taiwan, built by the Japanese. It is based on rigorous field investigations and divided into """"anthropology, geology, zoology and botany” to keep the history and knowledge of Taiwan over the centuries. It can be said that it has a wealth of first-hand documentary material which has the current significance of research and education, and has the value of preserving and displaying digital collections in response to technological trends. This research examine the Aboriginal culture collection """"Discover Taiwan"""" permanent exhibition from the perspective of visual communication design, and explore the influence of visual design performance among the digital collections on the exhibits of Taiwan museums.

Design can span technology and history. It is possible to span into the next generation and continue local culture through contemporary technology and visual representation. This research focuses on the effect of the visual aesthetic of digital collections on the presentation of exhibits, and the influence of improving visual aesthetics on users'' will. It also investigates how digital collections in Taiwan museums transmit the natural history and native culture of Taiwan. The study will be conducted using literature analysis method, field survey method, text analysis method, and questionnaire survey methods. First, the field survey method is used to investigate the historical origin, site environment and display area, and the text analysis method is used to explore the interface design of the collection. At the end, a questionnaire was used to survey perceptions and preferences of audiences for live display and digital collections.

After analyzing and exploring the results, we learned that the digital collection system of the Taiwan Museum is the official website, which is rich in content and has a unified and balanced visual tone. In response to the changing needs of modern society the design of visual communication is enriched with visual aesthetics, harmonious in proportion and balanced in structure, and plays an important role in the presentation of digital collections, making visual communication design more influential in the presentation of digital collections. After browsing the digital archives interface design, up to 74% of users agreed that digital archives can strengthen cultural identity, as well as promote the value of Taiwanese aboriginal culture through contemporary digital archives via a well-designed digital visual communication.
