原住民教育學院(IEI) 創建於一九九五年，是個非營利機構，他的使命在保存、保護以及為在世界各地的當今原住民能在現代環境中，靈活運用傳統原住民的知識。原住民教育學院開發了許多計畫為了保存傳統知識，保護原住民的禮儀規範，並且應用這些知識到天文學以及其他科學的領域。 原住民教育學院跟許多原住民組織和機構密切合作，還包括的主流大學和中小學在內。

The Indigenous Education Institute (IEI) was created in 1995 as a non-profit institution with a mission to preserve, protect and apply traditional Indigenous knowledge in a contemporary setting, that of Indigenous peoples today, around the world. IEI has developed numerous projects that preserve traditional knowledge, protect the knowledge in terms of Indigenous protocol, and apply it to areas such as astronomy and other science disciplines. IEI works closely with many Indigenous organizations and institutions and also with mainstream universities and K-12 schools.
