台灣原住民世界音樂專輯與視覺化之探討 以原住民語專輯《消失的幽谷》為例

台灣數百年來蘊藏了豐富的多元母語文化,隨著時代的推進,許多的母語漸漸的式微,尤其在原住民的族語傳承上,有著急切的需求。台灣的金曲獎創辦於西元1990年,在全世界華語社會中有著對流行音樂最高的解釋權,藉著金曲獎本身高度的曝光率以及影響力,也對母語的保存上有相當程度的貢獻。多年來藉著一年一度的不同語種的類型獎項,刺激各個語種的音樂人回歸到自己的母語,尋找自己的根;並且藉著歌詞在音樂裡面所必須要琢磨的深度,引導著音樂人必須認真的在母語當中,找到正確的用字遣詞,而進一步對於自已的文化有更深入的認同與認識。
本論文以研究生所製作之賽德克族歌手幽谷・瓦歷思 (Yogu Walis) 的首張族語創作專輯《消失的幽谷》為例,研究原住民語專輯與世界音樂之跨界結合方式。藉由專輯製作過程中之專業經驗,分析專輯製作流程、音樂創作案例、以及專輯主視覺之視覺化與歌曲MV之視覺化等,並達成以下預期成果:

一、 原住民議題置入專輯創作:無論是文化上、環境上,在專輯音樂與視覺創作過程中置入台灣原住民現今所面對的種種議題。
二、 傳統原住民樂器的跨界使用:善用數位科技所帶來的革新,讓傳統樂器有不一樣的演奏方式,且與電子音樂交融碰撞出全新的聆聽感受。
三、 專輯製作流程的系統化:詳細的製作細項分類與解析,將音樂專輯繁雜的製作過程歸納成為簡潔且有邏輯的系統。

For past several centuries, there are diverse native languages treasures abundantly reserved in Taiwan. Along with many ages go by, native speakers are also getting less and less. There is a great urge need in heritage of indigenes language speakers. The Golden Melody Award of Taiwan was funded at the year of 1990, it has great influences in Chinese-Pop-Music within Chinese speaking society among the whole world. Golden Music Award also contributes a lot on reserving native languages through its own media attentions and influences. Through these awards that categorize by different languages, it encourages many musicians go back to their mother languages and looking for their roots. By the need of lyrics writing during music creation, force musicians to find the proper words and phrases in their own mother languages. Furthermore, let them get to know more in their own cultures and find self-esteems within themselves.
This essay is focusing on the world music album《Vanished Valley》which music was written by Yogu Walis, a Sedig singer-songwriter, and produced by myself, as an album producer, to study the methods of the crossover of indigenes music album and world music. By the professional knowledges of production, to analyze the procedures of album production, example of the music arranging, and visualization of album and music video, and pursue the following expected results:

1. Embedding indigenes public issues with album production: During the processes of producing and visualizing the album, embed several indigenes public issues including cultural and environmental.
2. Crossover of traditional indigenes instruments preforming techniques: Through the revolution of digital technology, crossover the traditional instruments and electronic music and bring out a new atmosphere of listening experience.
3. Systemization of album production procedures: organizing the complexity of album production into a simple and logical system by dissecting details of different categories of production.
