我們先將鳥瞰公民權研究的文獻，接著考察國籍及公民權的取得方式，特別是相關國際規約的討論，再來檢視愛沙尼亞境內俄羅斯裔的公民權、以色列的『公民權暨以色列入境暫行條例』、以及中國配偶來台灣取得身份的國家安全問題，最後以愛情與愛國的糾葛做結語。

We shall start with a brief survey of the literature on Citizenship Studies and the look into who citizenship is obtained with a special focus on how international conventions are relevant here. The rest of this study will be devoted to the investigation into the citizenship of Russian-speakers in Estonia, the Citizenship and Entry into Israel (Temporary Provision), and the security concerns for the Chinese spouse’s rights to citizen. Finally, we will conclude with a probe into the intertwined relationships between love and patriotism.
