The study participants were 14 Aboriginal students who attended the Aboriginal activity curriculum in a junior high school of Tai-Chung county. The Aboriginal students would develop their ethnic identities because of the experience of socializing with group members and learning about traditional tribal culture. Moreover, through international performance, they gain self-confidence and diverse perspectives. The Aboriginal students could work out self-identity issues, which includes temporal perspective, self-certainty, apprenticeship, gender-identity, and interpersonal relationship. As a result, the Aboriginal activities curriculum have become an important factor of maintaining self-identity awareness.

The study suggests that the government should give support to Aboriginal activities curriculum. Not only the Aboriginal students but also other ethnic students should also be given an equal opportunity of attending activities curriculum to explore self-identity. In addition, the support of principals, teachers, and parents are also important for students who would like to attend the curriculum. This research would contribute to those who wish to consult Aboriginal students or to those who wish to develop a similar sort of curriculum in the future.
