[ 摘要 ]
本文將針對體制內的學校教育,以及體制外的部落現代樂團做一綜合性的探討。從體制內及體制外這兩個方面整理出鄒族傳統音樂在現代社會的發展與運用,以及現代鄒族人對於音樂的論述方式。

本文的研究方法兼採質性研究與量化研究的方式,針對鄒族傳統音樂在現代社會的變遷與適應,透過文獻探討、個案研究、田野調查、深度訪談與問卷調查獲得所需資料,進行統整與分析的工作。

筆者希望透過本研究,了解在現今學校與社區相關理論與多元文化理論背景下的民族音樂教育在部落小學的實施情況及其與社區互動之情形;其次,藉由部落樂團所發展出來的音樂特色,分析傳統音樂與流行音樂之間的轉化;最後,透過對學校教育的探討、社區文化推展的了解及部落樂團的音樂分析,以了解目前鄒族傳統音樂在現代社會中的運用與發展。綜合以上,本文的研究目的有以下三點:
一、了解國民教育與地方社區在原住民音樂傳承所扮演的角色,以及其中所存在的意義與價值。
二、從部落樂團的創作音樂了解新一代原住民對於傳統音樂與流行音樂的想法。
三、透過學校教育、社區文化與部落樂團的探討,了解目前傳統音樂在現代社會中的運用及發展。

This article will take the music education inside the administrative system and the tribal modern bands/choirs outside the administrative system to a comprehensive discussion. The development and the application of Traditional Tsou Music in modern society and their music discourse approach will be explored inside and outside the administrative system.

This paper centers on the transition and the adoption of Traditional Tsou Music in modern society by using qualitative and quantitative inquiries. All the research data are collected through literature review, case study, field investigation, in-depth interview, and questionnaire for synthesis and analysis.

Under the background of multiculturalism and related theories between school and community, the researcher hopes to comprehend Traditional Tsou Music practice in tribal primary schools and the interaction within the community. Further, the researcher use the musical characteristics developed by tribal bands/choirs to analyze the transition between traditional music and pop music. Finally, this research tries to realize the development and the application of Traditional Tsou Music in modern society through the discussion of school music education, the understanding of community culture promotion, and the music analysis of tribal bands/choirs . In conclusion, there are three research purposes in this paper:
1) Understand the roles, meaning, and value of school education and local community in passing down traditional music.
2) Understand the thoughts of new aboriginal generation toward traditional and pop music from the music creation of tribal bands and choirs.
3) Understand the application and development of current traditional music in modern society via the discussion of school education, community culture, and tribal bands/choirs.
