本研究主要目的:為(1)探討影響山美村原住民,對共同自然資源維護之共識及參與行為之因素(2)瞭解山地鄉原住民共同資源維護形成共識程度高低對參與行為之影響。以嘉義縣山美村161戶原住民為研究對象,採直接訪問方式,獲得有效問卷132份。
研究結果顯示,受訪村民對地方上共同的自然資源維護共識程度相當高,同時對參與共同資源維護之行為有正向的影響。
從逐步迴歸分析中發現影響原住民對共同資源維護共識程度之重要因素有「參與動機」,「參與村里活動之經驗」及「傳統地位」。影響共同資源維護之參與行為之重要因素有「人和程度」、「參與村里活動之經驗」、「傳統地位」、「共識程度」等變項。從路徑分析中發現「參與動機」、「參與村里活動之經驗」會透過「共識程度」間接影響參與行為。「社經地位」、「人和程度」、「參與村里活動之經驗」則直接影響參與行為。

The purpose of this research is (1) to explore the factors that influence consensus on common resource conservaticn in
the indigenous people in Shan-Mei village and the behaviour of participation; (2) to understand how the degree of
consensus influences (affect) behaviour. One hundred and sixty-one indigenous people were investigated and 132
queslionnaires were obtained.
This research determined that the degree of consensus of common resource conservation is certainly high, and
consensus is positively influence on the behaviour of participation.
The target of this study of common resource conservation was varicorhinrs alficorpus (Oshima) at chia -yi shan-mei.
From the analysis, three factors significantly affected the consensus on common resource conservation, These factors
include the motivation of participation, the experience of participation in village activity, and traditional status. Four
factors significantly affected behaviour of participation. These factors included the degree of support of the people. The
experince of participation in village activity, traditional status, and the degree of consensus.
From the path analysis we determined that the motivatien for participation and the experience of participation in village
activity would indirectly affect the behaviour of participation through the degree of consensus the degree of support of
the people, and the experience of participation would directly affect the behaviour of participation.
