鼓樂教學對低成就原住民學童學習動機影響之研究(Drum Music Teaching’s Influence On Learning Motive of Low-Achievement Aboriginal School Children.)

[ 摘要 ]
本研究旨在研究鼓樂教學對國小三年級低成就原住民學童在學習動機及學習表現的影響,本研究取自台東市優優國小三年級B班學童,共32名學生,其中低成就原住民學童在學習動機低落者共6名為研究對象,由研究者擔任授課者,以鼓樂的節奏教學進行,運用ARCS動機模式教學法策略,每週上課壹次,每次 70 分鐘,分成上、下學期兩個階段、八個部份的教學、練習及表演,總計為期二十週(共三十節課)的教學行動研究。
本研究採行動研究方式,以「觀察及訪談紀錄」及「優優國小九十四學年度三年級校內基測成績表」為主要研究工具,對受試者進行觀察。並訪談參與鼓樂教學的學生及觀察教師,藉此瞭解國小低成就原住民學童學習動機的情形;以鼓樂節奏教學為主,透過優勢智能的分析,運用ARCS動機模式教學後對低成就原住民學童學習動機的影響以及探討鼓樂教學對低成就原住民學童學習表現的影響;包括研究者教學現場的觀察、協同教師的觀察紀錄、研究對象的訪談、研究對象好友的訪談及相關文件資料蒐集等。最後探討研究者教學的省思,得到結論如下述。
研究發現(一)優優國小三年級低成就原住民學童的學習動機較為低落;(二)實施鼓樂教學後能提升低成就原住民學童的學習動機;(三)實施鼓樂教學後,低成就原住民學童在其它學習表現上有改善;(四)教師透過行動研究,提升個人在教學上的專業成長並能提供未來相關研究的參考。

The aim of this research was to study the influence of drum music teaching on the learning motive and performances of low-achievement aboriginal children in primary school grade III classes. The sample of this study was taken from a total of 32 students of Grade III B Class at Yo Yo Primary School, Taitung City. Among them, 6 of the low-achievement aboriginal children with low learning motive were the subject of the study. The researcher acted as lecturer the proceeded with the rhythm teaching of the drumbeats. The teaching strategy was based on ARCS motive model. There was a 70-minute class each week during two semesters. “Teaching with Actions” of the study was separated into eight parts including teaching, practice and performing. Total duration was 20 weeks (30 classes).
This study adopted the “Study with Actions” method. “Observation and interview record ” and “Yo Yo Primary School 2005 Grade III Class B’s Basic Test Results in school ” were taken as the study main instruments. To understand the situation of low-achievement aboriginal school children’s learning motives is by way of observing the students being tested under the study and interviewing students and teacher participating in drum teaching. The teaching was focused on drumbeats. The influence on the low-achievement aboriginal school children’s learning motives was observed by analyzing superior intelligence and using ARCS motive model. The study also tried to find out drum music teaching’s influence on learning motive of low-achievement aboriginal school children through researcher’s observing in teaching locale, assisted teacher’s observation record, interview with the subject of the study, interview with the subject’s good friend of the study and the material connected to the study. Finally, thoughts of the researcher’s teaching was discussed and the following conclusions were obtained:
The study discovered that: 1) The learning motives were comparatively low on low-achievement aboriginal children of Yo Yo primary school grade III; 2) Practicing drum music teaching was able to upgrade the learning motives of low-achievement aboriginal school children; 3) After practicing drum music teaching in low-achievement aboriginal school children, their performances on other learning also made progress; 4) Through actions study, the teachers’ individual professional growth on teaching was upgraded and the studying result could be taken as reference for future relevant studies
