花蓮縣布農族小學家長對學校推動文化活動態度之研究

[ 摘要 ]

原住民學校實施傳統文化活動是目前原住民教育的主流趨勢,本研究以花蓮縣布農族小學為研究對象。針對學校文化活動承辦人七人及家長二十一人實施個別訪談,以了解學校推動文化活動十餘年之情形,本研究發現目前推動的方式及目的給家長激盪了新思維,也發現學校文化活動的措施對傳統文化產生了衝擊。

本研究獲致的結果如下:

一、 比賽、評鑑是學校推動文化活動的趨動力,此趨動力促使花蓮縣布農族小學有著相同的節奏及結果,因此文化活動的發展缺乏百花齊放的多元及蓬勃。目前文化活動的推動傾向象徵性的推動策略,著重在表面式的推動、知名度的提昇,忽略提昇學生的文化認知及內涵,在推動上缺乏文化深耕之意境。

二、 家長普遍認同布農族的傳統文化是美好而值得保留的,因此對推動文化活動抱持著支持的態度。當文化復育的情緒由感性趨向理性之時,家長反思著文化活動推動的目的,認為文化認知、認同的提昇以及自我肯定應為推動的首要目的。家長認為學校最重要的責任在於培養學生未來的競爭力,因此文化活動應回歸到社區、家庭,學校站在提供資源、協助的立場來推動文化活動。

三、 文化活動的推動使得布農族人更肯定族群存在的價值,但是就目前祭典儀式的推動、母語學習的方式、文化創新的觀念、文化傳承的方式、辦理文化活動的時間等等都對傳統文化造成了衝擊。這些衝擊改變了傳統文化該有的時序及模式,也給學生錯誤的文化訊息及態度。

依據研究結果提出了六點建議:1、推動文化活動應以文化深耕為首要任務。2、學校發展特色應呈現整體的課程模式。3、社區人力資源的適當應用可以解決文化師資之不足。4、家長態度應主動要求參與文化活動之策劃。5、文化活動之推動應回歸社區,學校扮演協助者的角色。6、原住民教育主管機關應朝多元方向辦理原住民文化內涵相關之比賽,帶動學校多面向的文化推動。

Proceeding traditional cultural activity at aboriginal school is current major tendencyIn oboriginal education. Bunun elemtary schools at hawalien county were chosen to study,and visited administrators at cultural activity 7,parents 21 activity at school in dozen years.

Result

1. Games,evaluation are trigger power to proceed cultural activities at school.These effort made cultural activity of cultural itself.The promoting protocol tends to be symbolitic, superficially got well know,neglect to promote cultural recognition and insight to students,these effort is lack of the meaning in cultivate culture deeply.

2. Parents support the cultural activity and they consider the proceeding cultural activity are made studends to promote cultural recognition,identity,and ego themselves.Also they consider the most important part at school is to breed the competability of student in career future,thus they think the cultural activity had better going to community and family.The role in such activity of school is support and assistance.

3. The cultural activity proceed the value of Bunun existence more than before;but the propagation in the rite,the way of learning native language,the creative ideas in culture,the manner of proceeding culture,and the timing of holding cultural ctivities are all more on less doing impact to traditional culture.these impact alerted the timing and the type originally,so do the wrong massage and attitude to students.

According to this study provides 6 suggestion:1.Majore role of proceeding culture activity is cultivate culture in deep.2.The development of curriculum.3.The proper application of community human resource could resolve the shortage of teacher in culture.4.The attitude of parentes should ask participating actively in plan of cultural activity.5.community should be the major role,and the school play assisstante one 6.The administration of aboriginal education should deal with the culture activity in diversity and multiple direction,so does to the game and ways in cultue.
