原住民地區漢族輔導教師之跨文化專業工作經驗

研究內容

本研究之研究目的為探究原住民地區漢族輔導教師之跨文化專業工作經驗,採用現象學研究法,藉由立意取樣,訪談五位於原住民地區任教之漢族輔導教師,經由資料分析後,研究結果如下:
一、跨文化專業工作經驗的形成脈絡
(一)任教機緣:不同的研究參與者來到原住民地區任教的契機有其個別的考量因素與機緣;(二)在地的獨特樣貌:每位研究參與者對於在地生活及文化樣貌有不同的觀察和理解;(三)個人與系統層面的輔導工作助力因素;(四)個人與系統層面的輔導工作阻力因素;(五)文化合宜的彈性因應:瞭解在地文化與生活、覺察與反思自我價值觀、發展合宜的輔導工作方法。
二、跨文化專業工作經驗的觀點
(一)文化差異之下的反思:藉由持續的反思,試圖調和個人價值觀與在地文化的觀點,並從中歸納出對個案問題、在地文化樣貌的理解;(二)從在地文化出發的理解:從輔導工作中發現在地文化、生活等樣貌的不同之處後,嘗試以在地的角度去理解其文化、生活樣態以及彼此的差異性;(三)輔導工作的學習與成長:從輔導工作中學習與成長的角度出發看待自身的跨文化專業工作經驗。
三、跨文化專業工作經驗的意義
(一)自我價值與定位的追尋:跨文化專業工作經驗不僅是工作中的經歷,也是自我生命經歷的一部分;(二)輔導工作的磨合及建立:在感受到在地文化與自身的差異後,進行輔導工作的磨合與調整。
四、跨文化專業工作經驗的本質
(一)跨文化的本質:跨文化專業工作經驗的本質來自於成長經驗、價值觀與地區(城鄉、東西部)的差異,甚至是並無差異的「與人的工作」;(二)個人經驗本質:跨文化專業工作經驗具有不同的個人經驗本質;包括融入在地文化、服務與奉獻的熱忱,以及特別的輔導工作經驗。
最後本研究依據研究結果提出對諮商輔導實務工作者與未來研究之建議:
一、對諮商輔導實務工作者之建議:(一)對自我及文化價值觀保持覺察;(二)開放且持續地認識不同當事人的文化;(三)發展文化合宜的諮商策略與技術;(四)主動尋求在地資源的協助。
二、未來研究方向之建議:(一)將研究參與者擴及至西部原住民地區與國小、高中職輔導教師;(二)探究實務工作者與當事人間的族群文化差異本質。

The purpose of this study was to explores the cross-cultural professional work experience of Han school counselors who works at schools in indigenous areas. Phenomenological approach was used as the research method. Through purposive sampling, five Han school counselors were interviewed, and the research findings were listed below:
1.The context of the cross-cultural professional work experience
The research participants had their own considerations and various reasons to serve in indigenous aeras, and they have different observations and understanding of the unique life style, appearance, and culture of the place. Supportive and obstructive factors to their guidance work at the personal and the system-level. Therefore, understanding the local culture, reflecting on personal-values, and develop appropriate counseling methods are culturally appropriate response.
2.The perspectives of the cross-cultural professional work experience
Through continuous reflection, the Han school counselors attempted to reconcile personal values and local culture in order to understand the clients'' issues and the uniqueness of the indigenous culture. After realizing the differences through work, the school counselors tried to understand the discrepancies in culture and life style and even between people from a local perspective.
3.Significance of the cross-cultural professional work experience
Cross-cultural professional work experience is not only the experience of adjustment at work, but also a part of personal-life experience. Therefore, the meaning of cross-cultural professional work experience includes establishment of counseling methods and searching for self-positioning.
4.Connotation of the cross-cultural professional work experience
The basis of cross-cultural professional work experience comes from the differences in background while growing up, values and regions. In addition, cross-cultural professional work experience varies due to different personal encounter, such as special work experience, integrating local culture and enthusiasm of dedication.
Finally, recommendations for practical work and future research are proposed based on the results of the study:
1.Suggestions for counselors: In addition to being aware of self and cultural identity, it is also necessary to understand the cultures of different clients, seeking for help from local resources, and trying to develop culturally appropriate counseling strategies. 
2.Future research of suggestions: Extend the research participants to the Western indigenous areas and elementary and senior/ vocational high school; and explore the connotation of the ethnic cultural differences between the counselors and the clients.
